Race 2 of the 2021 PaddleNSW Harbour Series will be run on Botany Bay, and hosted by the fun loving crowd at Dolls Point Paddlers (part of SSCC)
Covid-19 is still a focus......if you're not well, have any cold or flu like symptoms, have been in a Covid Hotspot area, are waiting for Test Results, and/or should be isolating.....please DO NOT come to this event.
There are two courses on offer, Long Course (16km approx) and Short Course (10km approx)
ALL paddlers must complete the Registration process. For the avoidance of doubt, that means both paddlers in a Double, and ALL paddlers in anything bigger. There will NOT be a pre-race briefing. A Race Briefing will be emailed to you the Friday night before the race. PLEASE READ IT. You should arrive early in order to collect and affix your race number but not before the allocated check-in time.
Please arrive ready to paddle and leave the venue as soon as you have completed your race (once again due to Covid-19). There will be no presentations this year. Whilst there will be no catering services provided in this year’s Series, Dolls Point does have the Kiss the Barista coffee shop adjacent to the Start/Finish Line. Please respect their Covid management plan and don't overcrowd the shop. Entry and parking is via McMillan Avenue. PLEASE DO NOT use the Sanoni Avenue entrance or carpark - these are reserved for Coffee Shop and Sailing Club patrons. Key Locations, dates and times are as follows:

PaddleNSW organises the ‘Harbour Series’ of races, hosted by PNSW member clubs in Sydney and regional areas. They are suitable for all paddler skill levels, with short course options for the less experienced, and longer courses in more exposed waters for those more capable.
The series has been running continuously since 2012, and has been key to the growth of several new open water clubs.
The 2021 Harbour Series offers paddlers new to open water four unique courses in the lower risk racing environment of enclosed harbour and lake waters. Long courses are generally between 14 and 18kms, while short courses are between 8 and 12kms.
